Colorado Family Institute is calling for a rally to support traditional marriage. Scheduled for noon, Tuesday, May 15th, at the steps of the Capitol, the event was promoted through mass emailing and online advertisement.
Coming in response to the latest efforts to undermine the stated will of Colorado voters and especially against the law of nature and nature’s God, this last minute rally is an attempt to cement opposition against the juggernaut homosexual agenda.
The civil union legislation at the special legislative session called by the Governor is a conspicuous effort to undermine Amendment 43 which was passed by Coloradoans in 2006. Currently the Colorado Constitution, Article II, Section 31 states: “Only a union of one man and one woman shall be valid or recognized as a marriage in this state.”
The real debate about homosexual marriage is about who defines what is right or wrong for humankind: God almighty or anything else. And this rally is one way to bring that debate to the people.
