A dark room.
\nA noisy tv.
\nA quip and grin.<\/p>\n

And an old chair.<\/p>\n

Gray and gray.
\nWorn and mended.
\nA plush pillow.<\/p>\n

In it sits a grandfather.<\/p>\n

Comfortable.
\nRelaxed.
\nRetired.<\/p>\n

Offering a pop and a snack while holding
\na playful granddaughter.<\/p>\n

A dark room.
\nA laptop.
\nA turquoise pair of glasses.<\/p>\n

And an empty chair.<\/p>\n

Gray and black.
\nWell-worn and repaired.
\nThirty years old.<\/p>\n

In it was a man.<\/p>\n

Gone.
\nMissed.
